Black-throated Green Warbler- Female

Black-throated Green Warbler- Female

Finding food in the wild is a skill that must be quickly learned and well practiced. Watching warblers seek out their insect prey, one sees that they have learned to look in every direction, on the top and undersides of leaves, in crevices in bark, pulling apart leaves bound together by spiders and caterpillars trying to hide, in the nooks of flowers... A second later this BTG warbler had flown straight up and nabbed a bug from a willow flower.
