Snowy egrets (Egretta thula) can be easily confused with Great Egrets (Ardea alba), especially if they are not seen together. The best way to tell them apart is by their bills and feet. The Snowy Egret has a black bill with bright yellow feet and the Great Egret just the opposite: bright yellow bill with black feet.
