My field guide says the Eastern Phoebe builds its nest in shrubs. This one built its nest under the boardwalk at Huntley Meadows. Here he/she is waiting patiently for an opportunity to swoop down under the boardwalk unnoticed by passersby and deliver a fresh meal to waiting mouths.
