Yellow-Rumped Warbler& Cowbird Chick_JF00987

This image gives you some idea of the difference in size between the unsuspecting parent (Yellow-rumped Warbler) and the parasitic bird (Brown-headed Cowbird) it is raising. I started to get the feeling the big Cowbird chicks might actually attack the parents if they were not fed. They certainly looked aggressive enough to do it.
