Fish Crow or American Crow? Visually they are almost identical. But the nasally, squeaky "Uh Oh" call gave this one away as a Fish Crow (Corvus ossifragus).

When I was first learning to recognize the Fish Crows call it immediately made me think that it would make for a good Far Side cartoon... one where late at night the kitchen lights are suddenly flicked on and there he is caught with his wing in a cookie jar.. "Uh Oh".
