Blackburnian Warbler, Male_JF98286

Blackburnian Warbler, Male_JF98286

Always a welcome sight, the Blackburnian Warbler is (IMHO) one of the most beautifully adorned of all the warblers.

Here he is hunting for insects on one of the few remaining Ash trees, not killed (yet) by the non-native insect pest, the Emerald Ash Borer.

Location: Magee Marsh State Park, Ohio
